About the DRC

About the Delaware Reentry Consortium
Delaware Reentry Consortium, also known as DRC, was founded in 2006 and operates as the premier statewide, non-profit advocating for the incarcerated population and providing support to reentry service providers.
The formation of DRC grew out of a response to increased incarceration rates in Delaware followed by disproportionate number of individuals returning to their communities without supportive and rehabilitative services following their release from prison. The DRC is established to facilitate collaboration of individuals, organizations, governments with the objective of pooling together information and resources to assist individuals to reenter the community successfully. It is our belief that successful re-entry programs, lead to less recidivism, ultimately leading to productive citizens and safer communities.
